-The beauty and tranquillity of the church will be lost for ever.
-WDC has a duty to protect the historic setting of listed building under the Planning Inspectors Report 1994. Development would be incongruous in the setting of a listed building.
-The recent church restoration completed in 2013came at a great cost.
-Potential Civil War archaeological remains.
-Land has been cultivated to a high standard, contributing to reduction in importance, job and tax.
-The ribbon properties on Offchurch Lane are not a natural fit with the proposed development.
-Serious sewage and drainage issues have affected School Lane and Church Lane.
