Furthermore, if history is to go by, implementation of much smaller yet important infrastructure was very much an afterthought that caused great inconvenience to residents of Bishop's Tachbrook. No provision has been made to alter the T-junction where Mallory Road meets Banbury Road at Bishop's Tachbrook. It is impossible to exit the village at many times of the day already. Bishop's Tachbrook is now an unsafe rat-run for commuters. The installation of traffic lights at Oakley Wood Road and Harbury Lane and have caused confusion and accidents. After a number of alterations to the junction it is still not functioning properly.
