Aware from own experience of working in Castle Park that New Waters are contaminated with toxic substances. As this stream bed flows through the site it follows that the site will possibly be contaminated by the stream as well as the previously tipped material.

The site could adversely affect the setting of Castle Park. Damage could also occur to the woodland as a result of people living close by.

Children living at the site would have to get across a very busy main road.

The site is not screened and is something of an eyesore with various items of debris. The site should be cleaned up as it is on the approach to Warwick.
