The Plan is unsound because the development proposed is on designated Green Belt land, which can only be allocated for development under Exceptional Circumstances which have not been proven.
Highly productive farming land will be lost, with long established wild life habitats.
The Green Belt area makes a strong contribution to health and wellbeing , being available for sports and recreational pastimes.
The proposed development is intended to assist housing provision for Coventry but is not convenient for commuting to Coventry;, the commuter routes are already congested at peak times. Unnecessary commuting is environmentally damaging.
