I believe that the greenbelt around North Milverton should not be removed. Not only is this a conservation area, it is an area that is used by hundreds of local residents on a weekly basis for running, walking, cycling and other outdoor activities. The Government actively encourages people to be more active and do more exercise and they are now trying to take away an area that is available to do this for many local residents and their families, free of charge. The Greenbelt classification system was instigated for a reason - to protect our countryside.
