Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Lower value Greenbelt land has been identified nearer Coventry.

The plan is poorly conceived on sustainability grounds.

Loss of recreational facilities locally

Testun llawn:

The reasons for my objection are based on an unsound argument to remove high grade agricultural land from the Green Belt. This is only allowable under exceptional circumstances when the lowest grade of land would be removed first. Warwick District and Coventry City councils have jointly identified lower grade sites nearer Coventry.
These houses should be nearer Coventry anyway, if they are part of Coventry's housing need. They sustainability issue alone is questionable. Goods and services cost less in Coventry, so Coventry people will make extra journeys for cheaper shopping.
As a walker and runner I feel that we would be loosing an area of countryside with a network of paths and wildlife habitat. The increased population in the area will push people on to the Old Milverton Fields, agricultural land that is more often used as a 'park' This will reduce the productivity on this land too. Where is our food to be grown in future?
