A P&R in North Leamington is not sensible because:
1. It will deter shoppers and damage Leamington town centre trade. It is unnecessary as there is already adequate parking capacity (and WDC is planning a new multi-storey car park in town anyway).
2. It would only serve to increase commuting time and costs
3. The A452 would require additional bus lanes/widening and this proposal has already been removed from the Plan on cost grounds.
4. Should P&R ever become viable, it is more logical to locate it on a site north of Chesford Bridge, to reduce traffic on the A452.
