A park and ride scheme/carpark is not useful so close to town, and will be a waste of money. Shoppers will drive the extra few minutes for the convenience of parking in town.
It will be particularly un-useful, if there aren't any dedicated buses. Widening the A452 is not viable.

Increasing traffic flow and pollution around one of the main secondary schools in this area is not appropriate. The pavement on Sandy Lane is already very narrow and traffic fast.

None of the roads in the vicinity, particularly Stoneleigh Road, can cope with increased volume of traffic and congestion that the carpark will create.
