Potential flood risk: Concern that existing drainage/sewerage infrastructure will not be able to cope with such a high number of additional households. Current climate predictions indicate increased frequency and level of rainfall and risk of flooding will be exacerbated. Warwick Gates has so far avoided flooding but if predicted strain on existing drainage results in flooding in this area and is attributed to new developments who will bear cost of damage - developers or council?
