This land was assessed as unsuitable by the SHLAA Partnership in November 2011 for the following reasons. Nothing has changed since then.
The land is unsuitable because:
1. Development would significantly increase the risk of flooding to the village of Cubbington
2. There is inadequate road infrastructure to support the size of the proposed development.
3. the majority of shops and facilities are on the south of town. The development would significantly increase cross-town traffic.
4. Greenbelt development must be an extenuating circumstance. This development would connect Cubbington and Leamington Spa, so the land currently serves a strong greenbelt purpose.
