Increased flood risk - Fell Mill Lane area regularly floods. Additional traffic (cars), bridge wont cope. Farmland replaced with tarmac/concrete add to flood risk, damage natural environment. Inadequate infrastructure - no hospital, no large supermarket, over subscribed junior senior schools, no Sixth Form provision, no access to rail travel, infrequent buses with limited destinations. No employment opportunities. Proposal not proportionate to the existing town. Shipston town centre cannot cope, insufficient parking. Rural roads. Current residents [redacted] against as proposal would cause more flooding. Hospital 30+ minutes away by car, no public transport to it. Would be a giant dormitory.
