The principal of strategic growth can only be optimised if all relevant infrastructure is in place along with adequate social provision including serious consideration of essential services such as schools, doctors, hospitals, shops, parking, flood risks, policing etc. None of these essentials exist now in Shipston on Stour or surrounding areas so unless these are improved radically and sustainably further development of any kind in this area should be avoided.
