Electric vehicles are part of the solution to sustainable transport, but they should not be the primary method of sustainably powering private vehicles.

This focus has come about only through central governments mandating a solution to the pollution of fossil fuelled travel.

Hydrogen is a far more implementable and sustainable way of storing energy.

Put the requirement for zero carbon emissions on vehicle manufacturers and let/ make them produce the best solutions.
