Shipston area suffers from flooding and has limited local businesses. There is minimal bus services and no trains. The nearest motorway is 20 miles away. The school is at capacity now and the hospital is in some doubt. Infrastucture improvement is needed now before any more building takes place.
One of the proposed sites is on the flood plain and would increase the flooding in the town. It would be a bad decision to increase any housing in the area.
