This proposed development will destroy protected Greenbelt land, farmland, and vital wildlife habitats. Our village lacks the infrastructure to support such an expansion, with overstretched doctor surgeries and public services. The local roads cannot accommodate increased traffic, posing safety risks and congestion issues. Greenbelt land is meant to prevent urban sprawl, and the National Planning Policy Framework states it should only be developed in exceptional circumstances, which this proposal does not meet. Alternative brownfield sites should be considered first. This development would permanently damage our environment and community and should be rejected.
