The main area allocated for 1600 houses is right next to a river and regularly floods. The bridge will not cope with traffic nor the neighbouring village roads. Willington (d Road) will become a dangerous route where accidents will happen. Shipston would need major expansion of services to cope. No proper supermarket, petrol station, school space, police station, bank etc. We can’t even get 12 beds into the new hospital building.
