The farm land around the village which is proposed for development provides a buffer between the existing residential area and the nearby motorways and Blythe valley developments. Development of this space would increase the village so significantly that’s it’s identity as a village would be completely lost. With local roads and services such and doctors and schools already at or over capacity the increase would only add to the existing problems. The land also provides much needed income for the local farming community who are already under pressure as well as being providing a habitat for wildlife
