We have lived on Stratford Road in Hockley Heath for 18 months. In that time we have had sewage in our back garden at least 5 times. The existing drains cannot cope with moderate or heavy rain (increasing in frequency), "hydraulic overload" occurs and, in addition to surface water flooding, water flows the wrong way, coming up the drains in our back garden and bringing sewage with it. Further properties cannot be added without a major upgrade from Severn Trent.
