Those of us who live in Burton Green have suffered enough, thanks to the waste of public funds, HS2. This was a beautiful village, we moved here for a quiet life and for the nearby countryside and it has been destroyed, to the detriment of our health and well-being. To find out that the "powers that be" wish to turn us into a suburb of Coventry and destroy even more nature and wildlife is infuriating. I support the addition of the almshouses, in principle, but adding extra dwellings is not acceptable.
