strongly oppose the construction of new houses in Hockley Heath because it would drastically alter the character of our small, close-knit village. Increased housing would bring more traffic, putting additional strain on our already congested roads and making it harder for residents to get around safely. The village’s green spaces and surrounding countryside, which are vital for wildlife and the well-being of the community, would be at risk of destruction. Furthermore, our local services—such as schools, medical facilities, and shops—are already stretched thin, and more development would only make it harder for them to meet demand.
