This land is astride the River Stour and a significant proportion is on the Flood Plain which is not acceptable as a viable site. Also given the number of planned residences and units for work the bridge in Shipston would need to be looked at as an infrastructure project if this were to go ahead as it would not take to volume of traffic and also the lanes the other side of the river would not take the volume of traffic
