The land in SG06 is Green Belt Land and valuable high quality agricultural land. As the number of dwellings required to meet housing needs of South Warwickshire can be met without building on green belt land, there are no exceptional circumstances to justify development in this area.
Development of SG06 would undermine key principles of the local plan:
-it is not sustainable
-it would negatively impact the health of the local population and the ability to achieve a biodiverse and environmentally resilient South Warwickshire.
HS2 has destroyed high amounts of countryside, we need to protect the remaining green belt.
