It's all very well having a set of principles but it's the implementation of them that counts. Will the LPA require developers to build homes fit for the future: e.g. with solar panels and air/ground-source heat pumps as standard. Will the LPA require that homes are built with space for nature: e.g. bat bricks, swift boxes and hedgehog highways as standard. And will the LPA ensure that Planning Enforcement is sufficiently resourced to be able to ensure that developers deliver what is required.
