This area is a high quality farmland area within a small village community. The proposed new settlement is 20 larger than the village. The infrastructure of local roads cannot sustain more houses. The land has no sewage system on Featherbed Lane and is prone to flooding. Building a new settlement would raise the water table elsewhere so that all the existing houses could get flooded. This is an historic village within The Shakespeare Trust. Excess traffic is a problem now, with many cars using the area to cut round Stratford and avoid the A46 from the West.
