Most local people like to travel by car. Trains going through Wilmcote Station have very few passengers .Roads around this site are nearly at full capacity. Featherbed Lane has a queue to join the Birmingham Road (in both directions), every day, some days more than a quarter of a mile long. This development would require massive infrastructure work, but even so The Birmingham Road is likely to be snarned up for part of every day; this is because it ought to be a dual carriageway to carry the forecast traffic volume, but cannot be because of the Bearley railway bridge.
