The proposed site at Wilmcote is unsuitable for the following reasons.
The road infrastructure is completely inadequate for this size of development particularly the connection to the A46 and the bridges in Featherbed Lane would need structural improvement.
The Wilmcote site contains Mary Arden’s Farm which is of national/international cultural significance. Developing an adjacent housing estate ruining the natural habitat and vista would be cultural vandalism.
The congestion caused would significantly impact on air quality and pollute the surrounding area.
