New housing should not be built on green belt land north of Leamington Spa to protect the environment, prevent urban sprawl, and preserve valuable agricultural land. Alternative non-green belt sites are available to meet housing needs without harming natural spaces. Development here would worsen road congestion and strain local infrastructure, especially as the area lacks adequate transport links, increasing car dependency and environmental impact.
