I vehemently oppose this plan. Building of a settlement on land at Bearley/Wilmcote is a direct expansion of Stratford- a ribbon development leading to the merging of villages (B/W) into what will become an urban sprawl. Two South Warwickshire villages will loose their sense of community. Transport links - road and rail will not have capacity. Undoubtedly Wilmcote will be used as a 'cut through' via Featherbed Lane - Ridgeway - Alcester Road. Our village roads will not be able to safely sustain such traffic; specifically Church Road by the primary school. Light and noise pollution created will be unacceptable.
