Transport - the village of Wilmcote has around 400 residents. The proposed BW plan of 6700 houses would increase the population by around 15,000 people plus. This would, in turn, increase the traffic by 10,000 cars. The site is meant to be self sustaining. Wilmcote station has no parking with trains about twice an hour. The bus on the A3400 goes once an hour in each direction, north and south. So no public transport could be used. This would become a ribbon development merging into Stratford, with traffic jams in all directions. Featherbed Lane is very dangerous to walk down.
