I strongly object to the inclusion of the BW (Bearley & Welcome) site within the plan.
The site is wholly within the Green Belt, which should protect it from development other than for very limited conditions. The imposition of 6,800 new houses would completely alter the character of this rural, agricultural landscape.
The area has inadequate infrastructure: schools, public transport, GP surgeries and shops.
The A3400, which divides the proposed site, is a busy main road and would result in a significant road safety risk to residents would need to cross it to get to and from school and facilities.
