1.Additional housing will cause problems for a sustainable drainage system. After heavy rain there is already flooding on the A3400 at the A46 roundabout and at Bearley station. New housing will considerably increase rainwater run-off and sewerage.

2.Current transport infrastructure will need to be improved, particularly an upgrade to the Bearley rail link to Leamington and parking facilities at Wilmcote station.

3.Wilmcote is currently a historic village in greenbelt land with a Shakespeare tourist connection. This environment will be ruined if the area is joined to the Stratford ribbon development and becomes just another part of "greater Stratford".
