There is already a huge housing estate of 236 homes currently being built less than two miles away from this area. Combined with the new Amazon warehouse (one of which still sits empty) there has been an incredible amount of destruction to trees and wildlife habitat in such a small area. The Green Lung is being decimated, and development in A1 will only cause further damage. When the current infrastructure is already on it's knees, the area simply cannot cope with anymore new housing developments. GP's, hospitals, roads, services and schools are not fit to facilitate any increase in capacity.
