Wilmcote and Bearley would merge as one huge settlement if this plan were to go ahead - destroying each village's unique identity, communities and rural dividing spaces. The proposed land is well known as flood land, predominantly clay on a sloped area with a rich bio diversity. At the bottom of the slope is the train line to Stratford-upon-Avon from Birmingham and beyond that is the canal, with a narrow, historic towpath. We walk this area regularly and it is always 'swampy' even in the summer months. Building houses in this space would be a big mistake.
