Road widening and any kind of work on the major roads in our area creates chaos through our lovely villages. We feel this whenever there is a road traffic incident on the A46 between Alcester and Stratford-upon-Avon. The vehicles (lorries, cars, vans, trucks, motorbikes) come through our 30 mph village in a long seamless line of exhaust fumes, risking collisions and accidents - passing by our village school and everyone walking to school. I fear this will become greater and greater, not only whilst the works are taking place but when there is more congestion from new build.
