Myself and my husband are opposed to the proposal to use the land in Wilmcote for housing. There are many factors which would deem it unsuitable. Being flooding, sewerage, destruction of green belt, the historic value of the area for tourism. People come from all over the World to see Shakespeare countryside NOT housing estates!! Wild life would be affected, the beautiful trees. Surely they are other areas that would be more suitable. We know progress has to be made but PLEASE let Wilmcote stay as it is.
