The plans would almost double the town's size without addressing necessary infrastructure. Development along the Stowe Valley flood plain threatens attractive green spaces and risks flooding new homes. Additionally, the inclusion of Wood St car park, a vital community asset for local businesses, and the Factory Shop, which serves an important role, would further harm the town's vitality.
