I strongly oppose the proposed housing development of up to 8,500 houses in Hatton. Having grown up there and spent time visiting my mother, I am horrified at the thought of such extensive building. This development would destroy the rural character of the area, introducing noise pollution and traffic from thousands of new residents. Hatton has always been a quiet, beautiful place with local amenities that enhance its charm. I believe it is essential to protect the green belt and maintain the vital green spaces that define Hatton's landscape.
