I am strongly opposed to the proposed housing development in Hatton, where I grew up. The plans threaten to spoil the rural character of the area, leaving no countryside and bringing significant noise pollution from increased traffic. This development would disrupt the peaceful environment that includes local amenities and beautiful landscapes, which I cherish and want to preserve for future generations. I believe that Hatton should remain rural and that the green belt must be protected from overdevelopment, as this project could irreversibly damage the area I hold dear.
