More affordable housing, more jobs and growth – all good things. I’ve lived in S-o-A for 30 years but seen the town authorities ‘played’ by developers with the resulting infrastructure chaos. I’ve skim read the Infrastructure Delivery Plan – it talks a good game but experience tells me it means nothing. This proposed huge settlement will have massive implications for the area and I’m not confident that the council authorities have the competence to deliver the solutions for such a large project based on what I have witnessed so far. Go for the smaller options.
