The historically important village of Wilmcote does not have the road infrastucture to cope with a new town being joined on to it. The traffic conjestion from Wilmcote to Stratford is already a serious problem at peak times and even if there were the huge amount of investment available to provide the necessary road improvements, there isn't enough space available along the Birmingham Road for this. New home owners will either be driving towards the A46 Stratford roundabout ,(which already has peak-time long queues), or right, towards Henley in Arden which is also a bottle-neck at peak times.
