The site is unsuitable for development due to the lack of infrastructure to adequately and sustainably cater for the amount of new residents in this development. The site has no eastern connection route due to the railway and canal apart for the inadequately sized crossing point at Wilmcote. There is no carparking at Wilmcote station to cater for the amount of expected commuters and suitable public footpaths or cycle ways to get to Wilmcote station from the proposed area. There is no direct route to Birmingham from Bearley Station. The amount of upfront investment needed makes this site unviable.
