Brown field sites, derelict housing and unused buildings in Birmingham, Coventry and the Black Country should be regenerated to provide the extra homes required instead of creating sprawling developments that will ruin rural communities and the natural environment for everyone. The infrastructure and employment opportunities are already in place in those areas and bringing thousands of people to live in a greenbelt area of Wilmcote will just increase road traffic which is against current environmental policy.
