Road infrastructure insufficient to cope with increase in extra traffic, potentially leading to many cars taking to using rat runs through narrow villages. Congestion is already a big problem in this area. Local transport is poor, leading to the necessity to use cars to access services. These services, such as schools, hospitals and GP's are already heavily overstretched. Flooding is a big local problem with main access road flooded constantly with run off from fields and the railway. Wilmcote is an important tourist area for visitors from around the world and the development would destroy this, damaging the local economy.
