I would strongly object to a new settlement in this rural, open, farming landscape. The scale of development in this location is unsuitable and contradicts national and local planning policies on sustainability, environmental protection and preserving the character of the countryside. It will lead to irreversible loss of good-quality agricultural land and overwhelm existing infrastructure. I suspect the location has been proposed due to proximity to M40 J12. This is lazy planning and does not consider the already huge demand on this junction with the Gaydon development and JLR site. The special character of the local villages will be destroyed.
