2 of the proposed sites are within both the Cotswolds AONB buffer zone and the Feldon National Character area. The roads surrounding Shipston are mostly single track (including 2 single track bridges that both are regularly closed due to flooding) and go through small villages and are therefore unsuitable for being used to get to the town. A good part of Fell Mill is in a flood zone with a flood plain in the middle which will increase surface water run off and make our flooding problem worse. There are also virtually no local job opportunities.
