Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

I object to the Bearley/Wilmcote new settlement.

Part of the site is adjacent to Bearley Waste/Bushes (BWB), an area of Special Scientific Interest. BWB would be a boundary edge to gardens, roads or pathways on the development. There would be long-term impacts on BWB but mostly importantly in the short-term during construction. The site is home to Muntjac deer, pheasants, badgers, green and spotted woodpeckers, rabbits and other fauna.

The area has highways issues. Bearley has narrow lanes and roads, many without footpaths. The Snitterfield Road has regular farm, forcing other vehicles to pull in or back up. The entrance to Church Lane has poor visibility. There are no footpaths on the north side of Snitterfield Road, 100m to the west, and many miles to the east. Footpaths on the southern side are narrow with no evidence they could be widened. Access to the area adjacent to BWB is unsafe.

Bearley is recorded in the Doomsday Book. There are thirteen Grade 2 listed buildings. The Conservation area would be hugely impacted by the development which would have to be accessed via Church Lane. If footpaths were provided they would be adjacent to Grade 2 Scroobys or require its demolition.
