Building this housing estate would bring significant environmental and social harm. It would exacerbate flooding issues and destroy vital green spaces that provide crucial habitats for wildlife. The already stretched local infrastructure, such as doctors, water supply, and emergency services, would be overwhelmed. Increased traffic would lead to more accidents and higher air pollution, diminishing the quality of life for those in the area. We chose to live in the countryside for its peace and natural beauty which this development threatens to ruin. There is no justification for such a large-scale project when sustainable development should be the priority.
