As a regular cyclist and walker...I pass the area near Barcheston..the area earmarked for considerable development.
That ground is frequently flooded...with small ponds growing in it at this very moment...not an ideal development area.
The old bridge would clearly have t take more traffic and the pedestrians and their dogs who use it daily would not be safe.
Our access roads would be highly burdened with such a big increase in traffic.
Shipston is a Market town with a village feel..such a large development would not add to its charm.
Getting a Doctors appointment is no easy task...I fail to see how people would get the attention they need.
Then of course there's the issue of the hospital possibly having no beds.....the plan for so many houses with residents who may need actual nursing seems badly thought through.
