West of Warwick has largely remained rural with extensive Green Belt being protected. This balances out the massive new developments alongside Leamington Spa, Warwick and Stratford upon Avon. If this green belt area is to also be lost then this becomes the norm for all future developments and argues against any retention of it, and in its place a better strategic plan for fairly spreading developments across the county should be considered instead of ad hoc additions to the developed areas.
