The surrounding fields and ponds around Aylesbury Road provide habitat for all kinds of animals , amphibians, insects birds and reptiles. On walks I have seen all of the below and more.
Barn owls
Tawny owls
Buzzards
Kestrels
Red kites
Sparrow hawks
Hares
Newts including great crested
Toad
Frogs
Grass snakes
Bats
Deer
Also the village of Hockley Heath will not be able to cope with the increase of traffic Alyesbury Road is already used as a major cut through when the M42 is busy .
